MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Average gas prices in the Milwaukee area have fallen 8.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.04 per gallon on Sunday, November 11th. But drivers were finding gas for as little as $2.95 per gallon.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 5.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.20 per gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Milwaukee during the past week, prices on Sunday were 32.7 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 22.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
The national average has decreased 17.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 26.7 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
