Barn destroyed by fire in Dodge County

RUBICON -- A barn was destroyed by fire in Dodge County. Officials say the fire broke out around 3 a.m. Tuesday in the town of Rubicon.

Investigators say a passerby saw flames coming from the barn and went inside to rescue the animals. At this time it is unclear if all the animals made it out safely.

Firefighters from several departments were called in to help battle the flames.

Authorities say the barn is a total loss.
