Beaver Dam seeing several inches of snow, snow-covered roadways

BEAVER DAM (WITI) -- Most of southeastern Wisconsin on Tuesday, January 29th, saw unseasonably warm temperatures and rain. However, the weather took a turn early Wednesday morning when the rain turned into snow and the temperature dropped significantly.

Plow drivers began cleaning the roadways in Beaver Dam shortly after the snow fall began around 4 a.m. At this time, the Beaver Dam area has received several inches of snow and can expect more as the day continues.

Right now,  a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the following counties: Fond du Lac, Sheboygan and Dodge.

Roadways are lightly snow-covered.  No major accidents have been reported.
