MILWAUKEE -- Downtown Milwaukee is gearing up for a musical triple header. One of the most successful musical artists: Garth Brooks, and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, are headlining the BMO Harris Bradley Center this weekend, September 25-26.
Country star Garth Brooks has not been to Milwaukee since 1996. He retired in 2001, and now is back at it in 2015.
Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood are now back in Milwaukee after 19 years. At 53, Brooks started his new World Tour last week in Dallas.
During his long break, he raised kids and thought about his life now and then.

"We'd go four to five days without talking then. When the children started coming, the guilty really piled on you because my mom and dad was there for me for everything I did," said Brooks.
Brooks wife Trisha Yearwood, not only sings with him on this tour, she promotes her cookbooks and line of cookware and furniture as she tours.
"I think the secret is to really be with a person you like. We're best friends," said Trisha Yearwood.
Of course, Garth Brooks is one of the most successful artists in record selling history. His wife says he always worry no one will come to his concerts -- but tonight's is sold out.
