Bird flew into power line, knocking out power to more than 1,000 in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- According to the We Energies Outage Map -- more than 1,000 customers are being impacted by power outages in Waukesha on Wednesday afternoon, April 6th.

As of 4:50 p.m., the outage map showed four outages impacting 1,437 customers.

We Energies officials say the outages are the result of a bird that flew into a power line. The line then went down.

Crews are working to restore power.
