Bomb Squad called out to report of suspicious package Wednesday

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials say the Milwaukee County Bomb Squad was called out to a report of a suspicious package located at the Kinnickinnic Sports Complex on Wednesday, October 30th.

Sheriff's officials say Sheriff’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians responded to the scene to inspect the package and determined that its contents were safe.

The Sheriff’s Bomb Squad has responded to seven requests for service this month in the following communities: Milwaukee, Greenfield, Hales Corners, Glendale, West Milwaukee and Waukesha.
