MILWAUKEE -- The Bradley Center is looking to buy some time while it considers options for its financial future, and there is a big push for more sponsorships.
Milwaukee's business leaders hope to convince area corporations to buy sponsorships totaling $5 million to $6 million per year, until the possible construction of a new arena. These sponsorships would be critical to maintaining the building and allowing the Milwaukee Bucks to sign a long-term lease, according to Bradley Center officials.
About 1.5 million people visit the Bradley Center every year, which could be a good selling point for the sponsorships. The Bradley Center hopes to complete its sponsorship campaign by the end of the year.
