Braun/Rodgers 8-twelve restaurant set to open Thursday evening

BROOKFIELD -- The new Aaron Rodgers/Ryan Braun restaurant, 8-twelve, is set to open for dinner Thursday evening, July 5th -- according to a Tweet from the restaurant (@8-Twelve MVP).

The Tweet said: "We wanted to let our online friends be the first to know, we will open for dinner tonight at 5pm. We will be taking walk-ins only throughout the weekend."

Rodgers and Braun teamed up with SURG Restaurant Group to open the restaurant in the Brookfield location that used to house Charro.

8-twelve will offer American cuisine including steaks and seafood. Fans of both players will also see memorabilia in the bar area, which will also include big-screen televisions.

Both Braun and Rodgers helped develop the concept. Guests of the restaurant can expect to see both players make scheduled and unscheduled appearances throughout the year.

Plans for additional locations are being considered.
