Braun, Rodgers team up to fight hunger
MILWAUKEE -- SURG Restaurant Group and Hunger Task Force are teaming up with Milwaukee Brewers MVP, Ryan Braun, and Green Bay Packers MVP, Aaron Rodgers, to fight local hunger.
Braun and Rodgers are hosting a food drive in conjunction with the grand opening of athletes’ new restaurant, the 8-twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield.
From July 13 – 23, 2012 anyone dropping off a food donation at Hunger Task Force or Ryan Braun’s Graffito will be eligible to win an MVP prize package.
The prizes include autographed Ryan Braun and Aaron Rodgers jerseys, the use of Ryan Braun's suite at Miller Park for 12 guests (limited selection) at a 2012 Milwaukee Brewers game, a 50- inch LG Plasma television donated by Global Sight and Sound, and an invitation for two to the exclusive 8-twelve MVP Bar & Grill grand opening.
Food donations can be dropped off at Hunger Task Force, 201 S. Hawley Court, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. or at Ryan Braun’s Graffito, 102 N. Water Street, Monday - Thursday 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, Saturday 11 a.m. - 11 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
When the food drive is over on July 23, a winner's name will be chosen randomly to win the MVP prize package. Only one winner will be drawn for this contest. For more contest information, please visit hungertaskforce.org.
