Brookfield Kohl’s strong-arm robbery; police seek 2 men

The Brookfield Police Department is looking for two men involved in a recent strong-arm robbery.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 at Kohl’s on 124th St.

Police said two unknown male, Black suspects entered the store and began selecting various merchandise, ranging from clothing to jewelry. The suspects attempted to run out of the store with the merchandise without paying.

When a loss prevention officer attempted to stop the suspects, one of the suspects forcefully pushed the officer. The two suspects entered a black Buick Rainier with no rear license plate, and fled the scene.

When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, the suspects fled southbound on I-41 from W. Burleigh Street.
