Brown Deer police: Three juveniles arrested following pursuit of vehicle stolen in Milwaukee
BROWN DEER -- Brown Deer police say three juveniles were arrested during a pursuit after their vehicle's front driver's side tire fell off the vehicle.
This all began around 9:00 a.m., when a Brown Deer police officer attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed through the village.
Police say the vehicle failed to stop, and fled the scene.
During a short pursuit, the suspect vehicle's front driver's side tire fell off -- and the three juveniles were taken into custody near 60th and Good Hope Road.
Police say the suspect vehicle had been stolen out of Milwaukee -- but it had not yet been reported as stolen by the owner, a rental company.
The suspects -- a 14-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl could face charges of operating without owner's consent, fleeing, joy riding and recklessly endangering safety.
Several municipal citations were issued.
