Bucks and Milwaukee Tool announce partnership for arena construction site
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Tool announced an innovative new partnership on Tuesday, June 14th that brings together the two historic Wisconsin brands to help with the construction of the new Bucks arena.
The partnership will rebrand the arena job site as the "Milwaukee Tool Construction Site," also giving Milwaukee Tool a visible presence throughout the process of construction.
"We’re thrilled to welcome Milwaukee Tool to the Bucks family and look forward to working together to build a world-class arena that will be a lasting symbol for the region,” Bucks President Peter Feigin said. “Milwaukee Tool embodies the spirit of innovation that we see as a hallmark for this new era of Bucks basketball. We can’t wait to welcome thousands of fans from across the state to the ‘Milwaukee Tool Construction Site’ on June 18 to officially break ground on this historic project that will be built by local workers using locally-designed and engineered professional products.”
To enhance productivity on the arena, and as part of the agreement with the Bucks, Milwaukee Tool will make all of their industry-leading power tools, hand tools and accessories available to the construction manager for the arena, Mortenson Construction, and arena subcontractors.
“With a shared passion for innovation and the city of Milwaukee, we are proud to partner with the Bucks on this project,” said Milwaukee Tool Group President Steve Richman. “Together we will build an incredible sports complex, drive growth and create hundreds of new construction jobs in Wisconsin.”
