Bucks, Make-A-Wish grant wishes
The Milwaukee Bucks and Make-A-Wish granted the wishes of eight children Friday, Dec. 15.
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bucks and Make-A-Wish granted the wishes of eight children Friday, Dec. 15 – including three kids who traveled from Greece.
The kids got to watch the Bucks practice before meeting with players and coaches.
"My experience was really exciting," said 12-year-old Julian Burger, who traveled from New York. "We got to watch the players play, and I got some tips from some of the players – really helpful on my game – and I'm really excited to watch the game tomorrow, because I watched the practice and see how they perform."

Before practice, each child signed a single-day contract with Bucks general manager Jon Horst and Bucks and Fiserv Forum president Peter Feigin.
The Bucks and Milwaukee police also partnered Friday to give back to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. Feigin, guard Malik Beasley and MPD Chief Jeffrey Norman handed out basketballs at a youth clinic.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Police Department handed out basketballs at a Boys & Girls Clubs basketball clinic on Friday, Dec. 15.
"Probably every player at some point, as well as non-pros, have been through a local community center – a Boys & Girls club – and it really is there entrée into community, into activation, into sport," Feigin said. "It's a big part of how things start."
The giveaway was scheduled before the ball incident that followed Wednesday's Bucks win over the Indiana Pacers.
