WAUWATOSA -- The owner of a Wauwatosa nail salon was grazed by a bullet after a fight broke out inside Ly Ly Nails & Spa near Mayfair Road and Center Street. Customers had to put their pampering plans on hold while police closed the salon to investigate Saturday afternoon, Sept. 7.
"I can't believe it," said Reuneq Kaur, customer.
"I feel bad for him. I hope they're OK. I really hope they're OK," said Takaya Rice, customer.
Police say two women were getting their nails done just before 3 p.m., when another woman showed up who they "had beef with."

A physical fight ensued. One woman went to pull a gun out of her holster when, police say, it accident went off grazing the toe of the nail salon owner.
"It's very surprising," said Kaur. "It's a really good nail place. I feel like I've been getting my nails done here for a while."
Next door at Maxfield's Pancake House, a former state trooper was eating breakfast when he heard the gunshot. Police tell FOX6 News, he then chased the female suspect who was holding the gun as she tried to run away.

Police say he helped detain the woman until they arrived.
"I hope it does not affect the business because they are pretty good," said Kaur.

Police took two of the three women into custody, including the woman who had the gun.
On Tuesday, Sept. 10, FOX6 News learned officials with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office decided not to issue charges.
