In business news for Wednesday, December 7th, the Business Journal's Wendy Strong discusses plans that have been approved for a new parking structure for the Marcus Center. A County Board committee has voted to tear down the structure on Water Street and State Street to build a larger parking structure. The plans still need approval from the County Board.

Also, the United Performing Arts Fund says it will distribute just over $7.5 million to Milwaukee area arts groups this year - a four percent increase from last year.
