Busted: 55-year-old man in custody after Franklin homeowner found burglar in his home
FRANKLIN -- Franklin police say a suspect has been taken into custody -- accused of burglarizing a home on Wednesday afternoon, September 23rd.
Police say the homeowner came home shortly before 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, and found someone burglarizing his home on West Stone Hedge Drive.
The suspect was described as a white male, standing 5'9 to 5'10" tall, with a heavy, muscular build.
That suspect fled the scene on foot. A K-9 officer was used in a search of the area, but the suspect wasn't found.
On Thursday, September 24th, a 55-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with this burglary.
The investigation is ongoing, police say, and charges are pending.
