CALEDONIA (WITI) -- Caledonia police are looking for the public's help in their search for a missing 15-year-old girl, Haylei Mauer.
Mauer has been missing since October of 2012 and was last seen around Christmas by friends. She had attended Racine Horlick High School at one point.
Mauer had been living with her grandfather in Caledonia, who has custody of her, as there is something that prevents Haylei from living with her parents.
The detective says that Haylei could possibly be living with her Dad in Milwaukee County.
It should be noted that Haylei has run away from home several times. But detectives say she’s never been gone this long before.
