CAPTURED: U.S. Marshals on the hunt for Derrick Cooper, person of interest in shooting

MILWAUKEE (WITI) --  U.S. Marshals are looking for 20-year-old Derrick Cooper.

Cooper was convicted of breaking into a home in 2012 and stealing a TV and video games.  When he was released on extended supervision, he disappeared.

U.S. Marshals say Cooper is also a person of interest in a November robbery on Milwaukee's north side.  During the course of the robbery, the victim was shot.

Derrick Cooper is 5'1'' and weighs 190 pounds.  He has strong ties to Milwaukee.
