Car into Milwaukee River in Mequon: police

MEQUON, Wis. - Crews were called to the Milwaukee River near River Road in Mequon early Sunday morning, May 8, for a vehicle in the river, a Facebook post from the Mequon Police Department said.

One patient was evaluated at the scene by paramedics. 

MFD’s dive rescue team entered the water to search the vehicle and secure a tow strap.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
