MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The fresh snowfall has created a picturesque scene throughout southeast Wisconsin. There are snow-covered tress, branches made beautiful by the cold, and snowmen standing proud in front yards. But on the streets of some Milwaukee neighborhoods, there is work to be done.
"Came out this morning and I saw I was pretty much plowed in," said Nick Anderson.
A big mess of snow and ice was packed on top and pushed all over Anderson's car. When FOX6's Ashley Sears caught up with Anderson on Friday, February 8th, he was on a mission. He was clearing his car in a hurry so his girlfriend could make it to a job interview.
"I was worried I wouldn't make it on time," said Sammy Lesperance.
Anderson used every tool to get the job of digging the car out done -- shovel, scraper, even a prayer.
A lot of people were like Anderson on Friday. They're grateful for their scrapers and shovels. Now, they're just waiting for warmer weather.
