Man nearly struck by passing train
REDWOOD CITY, Cali. (WITI) -- A man in Redwood City, California narrowly escapes death -- and it was all caught on camera.
The surveillance video was released by CalTrain on Monday, March 17th. It shows several people crossing railroad tracks moments before a speeding train with horns blaring passes by. One man in particular runs across the track, coming within inches of being struck.
CalTrain released a statement on its blog saying incidents like this one that have to be investigated put the entire system into a slowdown.
