Caught on camera: Can you help police identify the robber of a Bank Mutual branch?
MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are asking the public to help identify a suspect who is accused of a robbery at the Bank Mutual near Jefferson and Wisconsin on Monday, February 1st.
The suspect approached a teller around 4:30 p.m. and had his hand inside of his pocket leading the teller to believe that the suspect had a weapon. The suspect demanded and obtained cash from the teller and fled from the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a male, black, 35-40 years-old, 5’8”-5’10” tall, with a dark complexion, salt and pepper hair, and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a black pullover sweatshirt, a black knit hat, black pants, and blue Reebok shoes.
The same suspect is believed to be responsible for a similar robbery at the U.S. Bank located at 650 N. Plankinton Avenue around 11:00 a.m. on February 2.
