CHARGED: 29-year-old Kewaskum man accused of robbing PDQ store in Town of Cedarburg
OZAUKEE COUNTY (WITI) -- A 29-year-old Kewaskum man has been criminally charged in connection with a robbery of the PDQ store on Washington Avenue in the Town of Cedarburg that occurred last Sunday, February 1st.

Kyle Panek faces one felony count of robbery with threat of force.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. Sunday, Ozaukee County Sheriff's deputies responded to the PDQ store for a report of a robbery. A description of the suspect and suspect vehicle were broadcast -- and shortly before 5:00 a.m., Mequon police were dispatched to the 9100 block of Pioneer Road for a vehicle in the ditch with the driver slumped over the wheel.
Kyle Panek was arrested for DUI (second offense) and other traffic violations.
Mequon police later realized Panek and his vehicle fit the description of the PDQ robbery suspect. Ozaukee County Sheriff's detectives arrested Panek, whom they say confessd to the robbery.
He is being held on $25,000 bail.
