Chick-fil-A wants to be included in Oak Creek's Drexel Town Square project
OAK CREEK (WITI) -- Chick-fil-A wants to be part of Oak Creek's blossoming Drexel Town Square project.
The operators of the restaurant chain filed an application to appear before the City of Oak Creek Plan Commission for review of a conditional use permit for a proposed restaurant at the complex. The proposed site along West Drexel Avenue is immediately to the west of Water Street Brewery, which is currently under construction.
Chick-fil-A's proposal includes a 4,876 square-foot restaurant with a drive-through as well as an indoor play area and outdoor seating area. The restaurant would employ approximately 45 employees.
The Plan Commission will consider those plans at their meeting of January 27th.
Already included in the Drexel Town Square complex are Froedtert Health, the Oak Creek Public Library and City Hall, Water Street Brewery, Sheraton Four Points Hotel, a Meijer store, as well as residential communities planned by Barrett Visionary Development and Wired Properties.
