Milwaukee shooting near Atkinson Library, 1-year-old girl dead
A 1-year-old girl was shot and killed in Milwaukee Saturday night, June 3.
MILWAUKEE - A 1-year-old girl was shot and killed in Milwaukee Saturday night, June 3. It happened near Atkinson Library around 19th and Atkinson.
Milwaukee police said the shooting happened around 8 p.m.
The child was shot at the location of Atkinson and then dropped off at the fire department on the 27th and Capitol and then transported to Children’s Wisconsin, where they died.

The victim was shot in a vehicle by a person during an argument between adults.
The medical examiner identified the girl as Zy'aire Nevels.
