FOX6 News spoke to shoppers who say they just never got around to shopping sooner because they were too busy. Believe it or not, some actually said they shop the day before on purpose.

A few people said Christmas Eve offers some deals, too, but there's always a catch.

"Try not to so wait so last minute like we did, because we went in some of the stores and some of the stuff we wanted to get is wiped clean," said John Gurley.

While many retailers close at 6 p.m., some are open later. Kohl's is open until 7 p.m. and Target is open until 8 p.m. Some spots are open on Christmas, too.
"Kind of last minute for myself and others as well, cause sometimes you find the best deals doing it," Lauren Parsons said.
