Christmas tree in the White House Blue Room will be from Wisconsin
OCONTO -- A little bit of Wisconsin is now making its way to our nation's capital.
A 19-foot balsam fir tree from Whispering Pines Tree Farm in Oconto has been chosen as the White House Christmas Tree.
White House staff members typically travel to the tree farm in the fall to select the tree that will serve as the centerpiece of the Blue Room holiday decorations.
The tree is now on its way to Washington.
