WASHINGTON COUNTY -- Students were evacuated from Richfield Middle School in Washington County Friday morning, Jan. 24 due to possible gas leak. School has been canceled for the day.
Fire officials believe some snow may have slid into a gas pipe union on the roof, causing it to crack.
The students were transported by bus to Friess Lake Elementary. No injuries have been reported.
No additional details have been released.
