Cleveland Ave. bridge to reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 27th

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- The Cleveland Ave. bridge over I-894/US 45 will open to traffic at the end of the day on Wednesday, November 27th.

Demolition of the bridge happened in June -- and since then motorists have been forced to use WIS 100, Oklahoma Avenue and 92nd Street to get around the closure. The project lengthened the bridge, replaced sidewalks and included new lighting.

The Dakota St. pedestrian bridge will be closed for demolition and construction in mid-May 2014 -- and work is expected to be complete in October 2014.
