Sikh volunteers were on hand at the temple Thursday, cleaning and blessing the temple following the shooting. Sunday, the Sikh Temple was declared a crime scene. The only ones with access to the place of worship were investigators.
Video and pictures released Thursday showed the pantry where 16 people hid as gunfire erupted in the temple.
Perhaps the most chilling image to emerge Thursday is a photo showing a bullet hole in a door. Sikh community members plan to leave the bullet in as a symbol of the tragedy.
Funeral services are scheduled for the six victims Friday, August 10th at Oak Creek High School. Public memorial services are planned from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is expected to speak.
