GLENDALE -- There could only be one winner Sunday, November 20th when Glendale police went head-to-head with North Shore Fire officials!

California Pizza Kitchen's annual pizza cook-off raised money for each department's program of choice.

The winner was the Glendale Police Department. Their program gets 60% of the proceeds.

North Shore Fire's program gets 40% of the proceeds.

Each department had their pick of 40 ingredients, and crafted their own special pizza.

"They have to toss dough. They get judged on their pizzazz -- you know, them having fun and passion -- the California creativity of inventing the pizza, and then they'll cook that pizza and it'll go to the judges. That pizza will become a special for the month, and the proceeds go to those charities," Aaron Ross, California Pizza Kitchen general manager said.
