Conversion van explodes near Wisconsin, Broadway downtown

MILWAUKEE -- A van exploded early Sunday morning, July 15th near Wisconsin and Broadway in downtown Milwaukee.

The explosion blew out all of the windows of the conversion van. A witness told FOX6 News the van was in flames until firefighters arrived at the scene to spray it down.

The van was badly burned on the roof and hood.

There were two cars parked near the van, but it is unclear whether they were damaged.

It is unclear at this time what may have caused the explosion, and whether there were any injuries.
