Convicted sex offenders set for release; will live in Washington County home
WAUKESHA -- Two convicted sex offenders are set to be released in Washington County within the next month. The two will be living at 1175 County Highway NN in the Township of Jackson.
47-year-old Eric Moffatt will be released from prison on February 27th -- and 32-year-old Justin Rathke will be released from prison on March 13th.
Moffatt and Rathke will be monitored closely by the DOC Division of Community Corrections agents. They will have numerous rules and restrictions to follow including wearing a tracking GPS unit.
Justin Rathke
Officials say both Moffatt and Rathke had been released from prison in the past, but due to probation/parole rule violations they were placed back in prison for a period of time. They are again being released and placed on extended supervision.
Moffatt's convictions occurred in 2001 and 2007, for exposing a child to harmful material.
Rathke's convictions occurred in 2008 and 2009 for second degree sexual assault of a child.
Authorities say Moffatt and Rathke have served their prison sentences imposed on them by the courts -- and they are not wanted by law enforcement.
