Correctional officer accused of showing up at a school armed, impersonating deputy
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke has fired a correctional officer whom he says showed up at a parent-teacher conference at a Washington County elementary school while armed -- claiming to be a Sheriff's deputy.

It happened on Tuesday afternoon, April 14th.
Sheriff's officials say 32-year-old Bradley Cournoyer of Hubertus will face charges of impersonating a police officer and possession of a firearm in a school zone.
If convicted of both charges, he faces up to four years and three months in prison.
He was hired in January 2015 as a correctional officer at the Milwaukee County Jail.
