Counting Crows, BOSTON, My Morning Jacket to headline BMO stage
MILWAUKEE -- Summerfest officials have announced Counting Crows, BOSTON and My Morning Jacket will headline at the new BMO Harris Pavilion outside of Summerfest.
Counting Crows with special guests We Are Augustines, Field Report and Kasey Anderson and the Honkies will bring The Outlaw Roadshow to the BMO Harris Pavilion on Wednesday, July 25. Tickets for the show go on sale Thursday, May 24 at 11:00 am.
BOSTON with special guest Starship featuring Mickey Thomas will headline on Friday, August 3. Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, June 2 at 11:00 am.
My Morning Jacket with special guest Band of Horses headline on Saturday, August 11. Tickets for the show go on sale Thursday, May 24 at Noon.
The BMO Harris Pavilion is Milwaukee's new lakefront venue, and will feature and host the music industry's hottest performers during the 11 days of Summerfest and throughout the summer. The venue will feature views of downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan, and will have high-quality permanent seats, as well as bleachers with backrests. A wave-inspired roof will cover more than an acre of space and provide protection from the elements.
The BMO Harris Pavilion will feature state-of-the-art production capabilities and large video screens coupled with a contoured seating bowl to enhance attendees’ viewing experience and sightlines. The area will also feature a permanent elevated lakeside bar with viewing area under the roof and newly constructed public restrooms adjacent to the area.
Tickets for all shows can be purchased at the Summerfest Box Office, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1.800.745.3000 (live Ticketmaster Agent) or 1.866.448.7849 (“Ticketmaster Express” automated phone line). Patrons may also utilize “ticketfast” at Ticketmaster.com to print barcoded concert tickets from home. Convenience fees may be added to all purchases.
Summerfest 2012 will take place June 27 – July 1 and July 3 – 8, from Noon until Midnight and will be closed Monday, July 2.
