Milwaukee pursuit ends in crash, Fond du Lac and Maxwell, 1 arrested
MILWAUKEE - One person was taken into custody following a police pursuit and crash in Milwaukee Thursday morning, April 20. The crash happened near Fond du Lac Avenue and Maxwell Place.
The pursuit began around 2 a.m. near 52nd and Capitol after officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a tint violation. The driver refused, fled recklessly, and a vehicle pursuit ensued.
The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle disregarded a red light and collided with another vehicle at Fond du Lac Avenue and Maxwell Place. The driver of the suspect vehicle, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, was arrested. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A firearm and suspected illegal narcotics were recovered from the suspect vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
