Crews begin razing three homes near Lambeau Field for redevelopment surrounding stadium

GREEN BAY -- The neighborhood that surrounds Lambeau Field is changing, with crews beginning to raze three homes near the stadium.

The Green Bay Packers have purchased 60 properties around Lambeau Field for redevelopment.

The goal is to provide non-football-related income for the team.

According to a team spokesman, there will be more details about the redevelopment project this summer, including information to be released at the Packers shareholders meeting next month.
