Prosecutors said the car reached 110 mph during the chase, which stretched more than four miles. It only ended when the driver – since identified as 20-year-old Raul Vargas-Morales – lost control and crashed, damaging a parked SUV, a trailer, a garage door and other items.
Vargas-Morales got out and ran but was arrested with help from a K-9. Once in custody, court filings said he admitted he was speeding and that he saw the officer's lights. He further said he has never had a driver's license.
