Woman killed in domestic violence homicide in Kenosha, man arrested
KENOSHA, Wis. - A 51-year-old man was arrested for first-degree intentional homicide in the domestic violence death of a woman in Kenosha.
Police responded to a home on 73rd Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 8 "within two minutes of receiving the call."
Kenosha police identified the victim as 26-year-old Charniese Brown of Kenosha, who died at the scene.
The suspect is expected to face additional charges "consistent with domestic violence," police said, noting this was a "tragic event."
