(CNN) -- Both K'Naan and the Silversun Pickups have asked the Mitt Romney campaign to refrain from playing their music, and now it seems Twisted Sister's Dee Snider is asking the same of Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan.
According to Talking Points Memo, Ryan apparently played the Twisted Sister track "We're Not Gonna Take It" at a Pennsylvania rally this week, and Snider ... well, he couldn't take it.
"I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan's use of my band Twisted Sister's song, 'We're Not Gonna Take It,' in any capacity," Snider said in a statement. "There is almost nothing he stands for that I agree with - except the use of P90X."
It seems the Ryan team has heeded the message, as a spokesperson tells CNN, "We're Not Gonna Play It anymore."
Earlier this year, K'Naan threatened to take legal action after Romney played his song "Wavin' Flag" at a Florida event without permission, as the musician said at the time that he wouldn't have authorized it anyway. Last week, the Silversun Pickups told the Romney campaign to cease-and-desist after it used the rock group's song "Panic Switch" at an August campaign event.
