Delays in excess of 5 miles on I-43 NB at Silver Spring after debris fell from truck

MILWAUKEE -- Delays in excess of five miles were reported on I-43 NB starting at Silver Spring Drive Wednesday afternoon, August 3rd.

Officials with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office told FOX6 News there was some debris that came off a truck.

The truck was off to the side of the road, and officials were working to secure the load.

There were no lane closures in the area, but the usual bottleneck created when traffic moves from three lanes to two was made worse by this incident.

The scene was cleared around 5:15 p.m.
