Developing: Construction crew strikes gas line in Shorewood neighborhood
SHOREWOOD -- Construction workers doing underground boring in a Shorewood neighborhood struck a gas line on Thursday morning, December 10th. The gas line was struck near Beverly and Cramer.
It happened around 10:00 a.m.
Officials were working to find the valve to shut the gas off.
No one had to be evacuated -- but the intersection near Oakland and Beverly was closed for a brief time.
