Health officials report 1,826 new positive cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin
State health officials reported 1,826 new positive cases of the coronavirus in Wisconsin Sunday and 18 new deaths.
MADISON, Wis. - The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 1,826 Sunday, Dec. 20, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 457,177.
There have been 4,417 deaths in the state, with 18 new deaths reported Sunday by DHS officials.
Of the positive cases, 20,120 have required hospitalization (4.4%), while 415,922 have recovered (91%), making for 36,736 active cases (8%).
More than 2.2 million have tested negative. More than 2.7 million have been tested.
