DHS: 294 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, no new deaths
MADISON, Wis. - The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 294 Monday, March 15, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 569,932.
There have been 6,536 deaths in the state, with no new deaths reported by state health officials Monday.
Of the positive cases, 26,821 have required hospitalization (4.7%) while 557,214 have recovered (97.8%), making for 6,023 active cases (1.1%).
More than 2.6 million have tested negative. More than 3.2 million have been tested.
As for the COVID-19 vaccine, DHS officials reported as of Monday, March 15 that 2,015,127 doses have been administered. To date, 2,140,265 doses have been allocated to Wisconsin.
