DHS: 946 new positive cases of COVID-19 in WI; 8 new deaths

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 946 Monday, Jan. 25, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 533,917.

There have been 5,699 deaths in the state, with eight new deaths reported by DHS officials Monday.

Of the positive cases, 23,748 have required hospitalization (4.4%), while 505,987 have recovered (94.8%), making for 22,041 active cases (4.1%).

More than 2.4 million have tested negative.

More than 3 million have been tested.
