Disturbing video shows what happens when drivers experience flash flooding near Las Vegas

Flash flooding has been a problem in parts of the U.S. of late.

A viewer sent video to FOX6's sister station in Salt Lake City -- showing what happened during flash flooding north of Las Vegas.

At about 1:37 into the video, you see a man jumping to a van that was swept into flood waters. The person appears to go down the ravine with the vehicle.

FOX 13 says it checked with the Nevada Department of Public Safety and no deaths have been reported from the flooding at this time.

FOX13 hasn't been able to reach friends or family to confirm the man’s condition.
