MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Divine intervention? A Milwaukee pastor bought a painting of Jesus at Goodwill and hung it in her church.
Two days later -- the photo fell to the ground.
When she went over to try to fix it, Pastor Angela Davis with God's Epignosis, Ecumenical Outreach Ministry Church noticed there was a second photo in the frame -- a wedding photo! She is guessing it is from the 1940s, and she shared it with FOX6 News -- hoping to find the family it belongs to.
"I'm thinking 'wow, this is a really old picture' because I've haven't ever really seen a picture like that myself -- a wedding picture that old. So I basically said, 'well this belongs to somebody,'" Pastor Davis said.
Pastor Davis says she shopped at two Goodwill stores the day she bought the painting, so it either came from the Brookfield location or the store in West Allis.
