DOC officials: Minimum security inmate walked away from correctional facility in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Wisconsin Department of Corrections officials say a minimum security inmate walked away from a correctional facility in Milwaukee on Wednesday, November 25th.

DOC officials say Michael Moore, an inmate at the Felmers O. Chaney Correctional Center in Milwaukee was reported missing by correctional staff around 3:00 p.m.

This incident has been referred to Milwaukee Police Department.

Moore's previous offenses include failure to pay child support, operating a vehicle without owners consent and forgery, according to DOC officials.

Anyone with information as to Moore's whereabouts is asked to contact police.
