GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Dozens of Packers fans thought they were scoring a great deal on tickets to a game. Instead, they lost thousands in a ticket scam. So what can you do to avoid becoming a victim of something similar?
Whether it's a big show or the big game, to get inside, you need tickets! While you can go to the box office or order them on the phone, these days, most people are getting their tickets online.
It usually takes just a few clicks, but the simple process can get complicated. Not all online ticket sale websites are the same, and if you don't get them from the right place, you'll be left out in the cold.
So what can you do to avoid ticket-buying pitfalls?

Police in Marshfield arrested a 37-year-old man in the Packers ticket scam. The case remains under investigation.
