MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Bitter cold temperatures earlier this month forced Milwaukee Public Schools and school districts all across the state to shut down for a couple of days. Now, MPS will be making up at least one of those days.
Students in MPS will be required to be in class on Friday, January 31st -- a date originally set aside as an inservice day for teachers. The news was announced in a couple of tweets on Thursday afternoon, January 16th.
